Frequently asked questions

Straight answers about how our websites work, what is included and how to get started.

This page collects the questions we hear most often from local business owners. Many people have been burned before by a slow site, a builder who disappeared, or a monthly bill that kept growing, so it is fair to ask plenty of questions before you commit. The answers below are written plainly, without sales spin, so you know what you are buying and what you are not.

If something here is unclear or your situation is unusual, treat these as a starting point rather than the final word. Every business is a little different, and the best way to get a precise answer for your case is to send a short email describing what you need. With that out of the way, here are the common questions and our straight answers.

What are AMP and static websites?

AMP and static websites are made from plain files that the browser can show without a database or heavy software in the background. AMP is a strict version of HTML built to load almost instantly on mobile, while static HTML gives a little more freedom with the same lightweight result. Because there is no admin panel or database, there is less that can break or be hacked, and hosting can be simple and modest.

Are these websites good for Google?

They give you a solid technical base. Search engines like pages that load fast, have clear headings and readable text, and our sites are built that way. We add proper titles, descriptions and a sitemap so your pages can be found and indexed. That said, search results depend on many factors outside any builder's control, including your competition and your location.

Is SEO guaranteed?

No, and you should be careful with anyone who guarantees a top position. We do not promise a specific ranking in Google or any number of new customers. What we provide is a clean, fast, well-structured site with sensible on-page SEO. That is the part that can be controlled. Where you rank also depends on competition, reviews and ongoing activity.

How long does delivery take?

A single-page site is usually ready within a few days once we have your content. A multi-page or multilingual project takes longer because there is more to write, design and check. We agree on a realistic delivery date before starting, and if a deadline is too tight we tell you honestly rather than promising something we cannot meet.

Is the content included?

Yes. We write the text with you based on the notes you send. You do not need to be a copywriter. Tell us about your services, your area and what makes your business useful, and we turn that into clear sentences. You review the text and can request changes before the site goes live.

Are images included?

We can use photos you provide, which is often best because they show your real work. If you do not have suitable photos, we can prepare appropriate images for the site as an add-on. Either way, every image is compressed and sized correctly so it does not slow the page down.

Can you build multilingual websites?

Yes. We can build matching versions of your site in more than one language, with the correct language tags on each version. This suits businesses that serve customers who speak different languages or that operate in more than one country. Each language is a full version of the content, so it adds to the scope and price.

Is hosting included?

Hosting is separate from the build price. Because the sites are small static files, hosting is usually modest and can even be free on some static hosts. We hand you the finished files so you can host them anywhere. If you prefer, we can help you set up hosting and a domain as an extra.

Do you use WordPress?

No. We build with AMP and static HTML instead of WordPress. This keeps the sites fast and removes the plugins and updates that often break WordPress installs or create security holes. The trade-off is that there is no built-in admin panel, so larger content changes are done by us rather than by you in a dashboard.

Are updates possible after launch?

Yes. You can ask us for changes after launch, such as new prices, updated hours or an extra service. Small text updates are quick and quoted as a minor add-on. Bigger changes, like adding several new pages, are quoted based on the work involved. You always know the cost before we make a change.

Can you create local SEO pages?

Yes. The Local SEO Landing Pack is built for this. We create a homepage plus separate landing pages for individual services or areas you cover, each with its own title and description. This helps each page focus on one topic, which is easier for search engines and clearer for customers.

Why are the prices higher than website builders?

Website builders sell access to a tool. Local Business Sites provides a finished website structure, copy support, AMP or static HTML implementation, technical SEO basics and publishing-ready files. The goal is to save time and avoid a slow, unclear or unfinished website.

How much does a local business website cost?

Our Starter package starts from €599, Business from €1,199 and the Local SEO pack from €2,499. The final price depends on how many pages you need, whether you want extra languages and how much content we write with you. You get a fixed written quote before any work begins, with no surprise invoices after you say yes.

Can a cheap website still be professional?

A low price on its own is not the problem. The problem is often missing strategy, weak copy, slow loading, no proper mobile layout, missing technical SEO basics and no clear path to contact you. Our €599 Starter is a finished site with structure and copy support, not an empty builder template. When your page answers customer questions in a few seconds and leads to a call or email, it can look professional regardless of the price band.

Should I use Wix or hire someone to build my site?

Website builders work if you have time to learn the tool, write the copy and fix layout problems yourself. Hiring Local Business Sites means you get a ready structure, help turning your notes into clear text, AMP or static HTML that loads fast on mobile and files you can host anywhere. If you prefer DIY and tinkering, a builder may suit you; if you want the site done properly without becoming a part-time web designer, hiring makes more sense.

Can you build a website for my beauty salon?

Yes. We structure salon sites around your treatment menu, prices, opening hours, photos and a clear booking or contact button. The layout is built for phones first, because most salon clients browse on mobile.

Can you create a website for a restaurant?

Yes. A restaurant page shows the menu, hours, location and how to book or order. We keep it fast on mobile so hungry customers see what they need without waiting.

Do you build websites for plumbers and electricians?

Yes. Trade sites highlight your services, service area, emergency availability and a visible phone number. Speed and clarity matter when someone has a leak or power problem.

Is a one-page website enough for a small local business?

Often yes. A solo barber, massage therapist or plumber can do well with one strong page covering services, prices, hours and contact. We quote based on what you actually need.

Can my website show services, prices, opening hours and contact buttons?

Yes. Those elements are standard in every package. Your clients should quickly see what you offer, what it costs, when you are open and how to call or email.

Can you build a website without WordPress?

Yes. We use AMP and static HTML instead of WordPress, which keeps pages fast and reduces plugin and security problems. You get finished files you can host anywhere.

Will the website be mobile-friendly and fast?

Yes. Mobile-first layout and fast loading are built in. Local customers usually find you on a phone, so the page must read well and open quickly on a small screen.

How do I order?

Send a short email to contact@localbusinesssites.com with your business name, location, industry, the kind of site you need, your preferred language, rough number of pages, deadline and budget range. We reply with a quote, a suggested package and a delivery time. The order page lists everything to include so nothing is missed.

One more thing worth saying: there is no obligation in asking. Sending a question or a project request does not commit you to anything. We treat the first email as the start of a conversation, and plenty of people write in simply to understand their options before they decide. If our approach is not the right fit for you, we will say so honestly rather than push a package you do not need.

Still have a question?

If your question is not answered here, just ask. Send a short email and we will reply with a straight answer.
